Your heel or the sole of your foot hurts, often most on your first steps.
This program is general exercise guidance. Check with your clinician before you start, and stop and get care if any warning sign below shows up.
See a clinician first if any of these apply:
- Sudden 'pop' in the heel/arch with inability to push off (possible tear)
- Hot, red, swollen foot with fever
- Numbness, burning into multiple toes with back symptoms (seek assessment)
- Open wound, ulcer, or infection signs on the foot
- Rapidly worsening night pain unrelated to first steps
